Events to photograph in London September 2014

September in London has some great photo opportunities - some not to be missed.

20th September - Photo Walk with professional tips - Historic Greenwich
We have a Photo Walk with professional tips running on  20th September around historic Greenwich - you can book your place for just £20 HERE.

1st-30th September - Totally Thames.

2nd-7th September - Appearing Rooms - Fountain

5th and 6th September - Fire Garden by Carabosse.

5th-9th September - Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta
Up to 50 ships berthed along the Thames and shore-side activities including maritime markets, street theatre music, dance and art installations make this a great event for photographers.

7th September - Angel Canal Festival.

Based around City Road lock this event brings together numerous canal boats, a fun farm, live music, street theatre and a loading cinema. Great chance for candid shots and colourful characters.

13th -14th September - London Transport Museum Open Depot weekend
A weekend of activities focussing on the role of London transport in the First World War. The museum in Acton is only open rarely and so this is a great chance to see items not normally on view. 14th September - Richmond Duathlon

20th September - Great Gorilla Run
Hundreds of people dressed as Gorillas run through the city of London! Full details here http://www.greatgorillarun.org

20th -21st September - Open House London
Your chance to get inside buildings not normally open to the public - the Gherkin, 10 Downing street, Whitehall and Admiralty house for instance. Some you can just turn up and enter for but many require advanced booking and some have a ballot system to allocate tickets. Full details can be found at http://www.londonopenhouse.org.

27th September - The Great River Race
A spectacular event with over 300 boats from around the world competing. Great chance for some unusual sporting pictures. Full details here http://www.greatriverrace.co.uk
