Park Cameras Imaging Festival 2018

This weekend the Park Cameras Imaging festival celebrated a love of photography and camera technology at our Burgess Hill store.

The in-store event was expanded to cover two days - and don't fear if you missed out – the third day of the Imaging Festival is on Saturday 23rd June 2018 - a free London photography event with talks and seminars (& exclusive in-store offers) at our branch in Rathbone Place.

What is the Park Cameras Imaging Festival?

The Imaging Festival is a free in-store photography event that celebrates the latest imaging and camera technology available from all the top brands.

It’s a day where learning how to take better photos is top of the list – with free expert advice from professional photographers with a range of practical demonstrations and useful seminars.

And of course, it’s a time to get some great discounts – we had offers exclusive to the imaging festival that saw savings of up to £379! The deals are so exclusive we can’t advertise them online, so be sure to catch the next part of the Imaging Festival at our London store on Saturday.

Free expert advice from professional photographers

While we at Park Cameras pride ourselves on our expert, friendly and award-winning advice (we won the Amateur Photographer Gold Good Service Award 2018), we recognise that our customers want to learn their actual camera techniques from expert photographers that specialise within their field!

Free photography talks at our Burgess Hill store included:

Great family photos and how to take them with Helen Bartlett
’From Street To Studio’ - Capturing emotion and documenting stories with Alex Benyon
Simple steps to superior portraits with Gavin Hoey

Choose and reserve your space at the London store events now to reserve your space. In addition to talks and seminars, you can have your Canon sensor cleaned for free!

We were quite happy with our shot of Gavin Hoey taking a snap of Jade Lyon...
... Until we saw the standard of shots he was producing - that's why he was giving the demonstration!

Speak to photographic experts from the biggest brands

As we all know, the world of camera technology changes at some pace – the last 2 weeks alone has seen major announcements; the Sony RX100 VI, the highly-anticipated new Canon 70-200 L series (f/4 and f/2.8) and the Samyang 24mm f2.8 (Sony fit) to name just a few.

In-store demonstrations drew large crowds
So what better way to stay up to date with your favourite brand than to speak to the photographic experts in person?

We had imaging and product experts on hand from a great range of brand leaders – Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Fujifilm, Ricoh, Pentax, DJI, Rotolight, Kenro, Manfrotto, Tamron, Sigma, Samyang, Vanguard, Wacom, Tether Tools, Rogue, Epson, Voigtländer, Black Rapid, Westcott, Sekonic, Syrp, Ona, Profoto, Lastolite, Lowepro, Hoya, Tamrac, Crumpler, LEE Filters, Benro and Kenro were all present.

Customers had the chance to speak to product experts from a number of top brands

Competition Time - win an Epson printer worth £599!

We all know it's easy to fall into the trap of taking wonderful photos, then just leaving them, unloved, in a folder on your computer. We think this is a shame - especially when you can produce stunning prints up to A3 size with little effort.

To truly embrace the festival spirit, we're giving away a fantastic EPSON SureColor SC-P600 with an SRP of £599!

You have until the end of 30th June to enter the competition - good luck!
