Take a look back at our Photokina blog, where the launch of the Lumix S Series caused a few shockwaves - especially as it came in tandem with the news that Panasonic, Sigma and Leica alligned to work on a new inter-brand fit, using the Leica L Mount.

This means that when the Lumix S1 and S1R are launched, there will be a choice between the three brands for compatible lenses on the S Series cameras.
