Sony World Photography Awards - Open Competition Winners

With the winners of the Sony World Photography Awards Photographer of the Year, Overall Open, Student, Youth Winners and Professional Category Winners being announced later today, we thought we'd have a look at some of our favourite winners from the Open competition of the 2019 Awards.

Open Competition Winners

The World Photography Organisation unveiled 10 winning images in the Open competition at the end of February. The winning shots span a wide variety of themes and categories from culture, portrait and still life through to landscape and motion.

Similarly, the winners come from a wide variety of locations spanning the globe with winners featured from Hong Kong, France and Czech Republic to name a few.

The World Photography Organisation will announce the Open Photographer of the Year, a title that comes with a cash prize of $5,000, later today.
