Park Cameras London Photo Walk - Camden Town 4/10/14

It was my pleasure to lead the Park Cameras Photo Walk to Camden Town on Saturday 4th October.

Meeting at Camden Town Station we set off up Camden High Street just as the rain started to fall.

Some advice on camera settings and white balance was well received by the walkers and we managed to find a number of suitable subjects in the covered markets and side streets.

Continuing up the High Street the amazing shop fronts made for great subjects as did some of the items on sale.

Some very colourful modern architecture made for a great subject for pattern pictures before we moved up to Camden Lock.

At this point the heavens really opened so we headed in to a cafe for a break from the rain and to talk photography.

With the rain relenting we then moved in to the Camden Lock and Stables Market and found lots of interesting subjects in interesting mixed lighting conditions.

We also captured some of the stunning street art before returning back down the high street to Camden Town station.

We finished slightly damper than we started but certainly happy with what we had captured and the walkers all said how much they had enjoyed the walk and what a lot they had learned.
Please do join us for one or the two remaining walks in 2014 - Saturday 1st November we cover part of the South Bank and then move in to Westminster to capture some of the iconic sights of London.
You can book this walk  for only £20 just click HERE.

Then, on the 6th December we have our first Night Photo walk - capturing vibrant London by night including the Christmas Lights and displays. Just click HERE to book this walk for only £20!
