July 2024 will see the return of Global Birdfair and here at Park Cameras, we’re delighted to confirm that we’ll be in attendance!

Global Birdfair encompasses the whole spectrum of the wildlife watching industry whilst at the same aims to make a difference to conserving nature worldwide. If you’re into birds and wildlife, then this one event not to miss!

At Global Birdfair, you'll find events and lectures all weekend, celebrity visitors, and a great gathering of like-minded people raising money and awareness of important causes.

Plus, if you’re looking to trade-in your existing kit, our used specialists will be available throughout the show to evaluate your kit and give you a quote there and then.

Global Birdfair will take place at a NEW VENUE! Find the show at Lyndon Top, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 8RN on the 12th, 13th and 14th July 2023, from 9:00am - 5:30pm each day (or 5:00pm on Sunday). The venue provides access to Rutland Water by foot and Lyndon Nature Reserve.

FREE car parking will be available on site, along with disabled access if required (please inform the Global Birdfair team in advance if you have any specific requirements to enable you to access the event). The event area and car parking areas are on grass surfaces.

Global Birdfair 2024 Project with Galala Bird Observatory, Egypt:

We hope you will come along to support Global Birdfair as we join in Creating Brighter Futures for the birds and communities involved in this Birdlife International project for 2024.

Galala Bird Observatory will become a flagship observation point of global significance in terms of the numbers and diversity of species during the spring migration.

The migrant birds passing Galala represent globally significant proportions of species populations that spend the summer in eastern Europe and in western and central Asia.

There are no other similar migratory observation points in Egypt.

During a six-week period at Galala Mountain in Spring 2023, NCE observers counted an astonishingly high number (380,000) and diverse range of species, including 1,300 Egyptian Vulture, 35,000 Steppe Eagle and Lesser Spotted Eagle, 200,000 Steppe Buzzard, and 52,000 White Stork.
