Another great day on Saturday 26th July as Park Cameras customers enjoyed Photo Walk One around the British Museum, Covent Garden and Soho area of London.
We set off from the beautifully cool air-conditioned Park Cameras London store in Rathbone street after a briefing on camera settings, white balance and subjects to watch out for.
We then continued the walk arriving at the British Museum - with its amazing architecture we spent around 30 minutes inside shooting all manor of subjects. It is a great place for candid shots and photo walkers took full advantage.
Heading out of the Museum, we then moved in to the Covent Garden area taking advantage of the bright conditions to secure some colourful reflection shots on the way.
An unusual collection of Telephone boxes provided some nice colourful pictures on the way and on arrival to the Piazza a further briefing on shooting candids and making best use of the light was put in to good practice by the walkers.
Heading out of Covent Garden we then went in to Chinatown and again secured some very colourful shots as well as some great candids.
Heading up through Soho there were many more street photography opportunities as well as sports and close-ups.
We finished the walk passing through Soho Square and returned to the Park Cameras London Store lecture area for a well earned sit-down, cold drink and de-briefing!
So, another great Photo walk and you can join us on the next walk which is along the vibrant London Southbank concluding at Borough Market - so great photography finishing with great food!
